Today, Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, inaugurated 860 #CCTVCameras in the LB Nagar Zone.
Out of these, 380 #CCTV #Cameras have been installed across 14 colonies and 4 villages under the #community initiative, at a cost of ₹79,32,000/-, which includes a 2-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC).
The remaining 480 #CCTV #Cameras were installed at 119 vulnerable temples as part of a special drive.
All the newly installed cameras are integrated into the Command and Control Centre, where a dedicated team monitors them 24/7.
With this addition, the total number of CCTV cameras within the LB Nagar Zone has reached 6,087, along with 71,693 #NenuSaitham #CCTV #Cameras, all geo-tagged and operational.
Sri G. Sudheer Babu, IPS, also #appreciated and #felicitated the colony elders who came forward to support the #Police in strengthening community safety through #CCTV installation.
